Mark you calendars: Because on Saturday, October 8th, the Hb Epic is coming back around!
(We realize that it’s been a while.)
This time around there will be river view canals, the gravel, painful climbs, and the scenic towns that make this area famous. We’ll leave from Cranford, passing through Round Valley Reservoir with our first scheduled stop in the scenic and charming Hunterdon County city of Frenchtown. From there, we’ll make our way to the canals along the Delaware River, crossing into Pennsylvania and be greeted by the leg-exploding Lodi Hill Climb, a half-mile 11%er gravel climb. From there, we’ll make our way to Emmaus, PA and swing by South Mountain Cycles for a quick snack. Then we’ll begin our route towards Philadelphia. We’ll pass through the Green Lake Reservoir and hit up the Perkiomen Valley Route ending along the Schyulkill River Trail’s Conshohoken Brewery. The total distance is just shy of 134 miles.
Here is the route. CLICK
This ride will have Sag Support including food and drinks available at the rest stops. Beer will be provided at Conshohoken Brewery.
We’ll be staying at Philadelphia Marriott West for those of you wishing to book a room.
